To me this sounds like a relationship I had with a girl. She was very kind to me at first but after a month of going out I found out otherwise. We could not get along at all and i was trying very hard to make it work when it seemed as if she was not trying at all. In fact she was making it worse. She swears she didnt want to break up but she did nothing to hold the relationship together.
Sounds like this guys relationship is falling apart and he is explaining why he is the way he is to the girl. She will have to make up her mind and take or leave him.

this song is great. i think this song is about how the two don't work together and are not meant for each other. in the end it should just be over but she continues to mess with him and she wants to make something work that's broken and can't be fixed. he just wants to let go.
