For My Star

Today was the worst day for some time
As everything takes its toll on my mind
But virtually I look into the sky
I know my star would never pass me by
Everybody needs someone to need them back
We need someone to want who were are
I looked so hard
I found no one
Until I finally found my very own star
No matter how much life kicks me down
I’ve never any need to keep a frown
Because I always know where my star will be
In cyberspace, illuminating me
Everybody hates to feel alone sometimes
But I keep my star company

I finally found the most beautiful star
No matter where I choose to go
I know my star will be there for me

My star is the brightest star I’ve ever seen
In space she is the queen
I know that in the day I can’t see you shine
But it doesn’t mean that you’re not mine
Darkness falls and you are there

Cos everybody loves to have someone to rely in
I will be your solid rock
I looked so hard
I saw your steady glow
And I knew that I had found my star
