Picture Of My Life Lyrics
I never had a dream that I could follow through
Only tears left to stain, dry my eyes once again
I don't know who I am, or what I'm gonna do
Been so long I've been hopelessly confused
This can never really end, its infinitely sad
Can someone tell me when
Something good became so bad
So if you have a cure
To me would you please send
A picture of my life
With a letter telling how
it should really be instead
The precipice is there
But will I ever dare
Throw myself in the sky, so at last I can die
See I've become a man
Who holds nothing too dear
Who will mind if I just disappear
This can never really end, it's infinitely sad
Can someone tell me when
Something good became so bad
So if you have a cure
To me would you please send
A picture of my life
With a letter telling how
it should really be instead
Only tears left to stain, dry my eyes once again
I don't know who I am, or what I'm gonna do
Been so long I've been hopelessly confused
Can someone tell me when
Something good became so bad
So if you have a cure
To me would you please send

But will I ever dare
Throw myself in the sky, so at last I can die
See I've become a man
Who holds nothing too dear
Who will mind if I just disappear

Something good became so bad
So if you have a cure
To me would you please send
A picture of my life
With a letter telling how

This song is quite possibly the saddest song I've ever heard in my life. I don't know the exact meaning behind it, but it sounds to me like he can't remember part of his life, or he is at a time in his life when he doesn't know what to do or where to go. I love Jamiroquai with a passion but this song makes me cry every time I hear it.
it is a really sad song and seems full of regret and sorrow and suggetions that maybe he is even willing to jack it all in. i heard it was written shortly after splitting from denise van outen. glad he seems a little happier these days.
it's a heartbreaking song... what made him choose such an upbeat and what seams to be happy music to go along with these lyrics goes beyond my grasp, but they along great.
@AzWeThinkIam damn dude you find the music to this song upbeat? It's so melancholy to me. It's in a minor key, many of the chords sound minor and/or diminished, the pace is relatively slow. Interesting to see a difference of opinion.
