Airplane Lyrics

Airplane

Drifting though the atmosphere
And up into space
Leave behind the moon he's sitting
In his special place

Some flutterbies they enter and they
Play around in my soul
And once again part of me
Fills up to be whole

Da da day
Just flying in my airplane.

Peaceful colours everywhere
Purples and deep blues
Feeling so at home here oh
As if up here i grew

It's so beautiful up here now,
Oh I think I might just stay
All alone and by myself
So free and far away

Da da day
I'm with my aeroplane

I can see heaven
Heaven down below
I look at heaven
And an angel who I know
I can see heaven
Heaven down below

Da da day
I'm with my aeroplane

Just happy to be me again.

,,to me it feels like it's about love..like most of her songs..but this time about the good sides of love..she's light..and so happy she rises above heaven..she feels like home..she can be herself again..this guy [girl maybe you never know] must've really grew on her..sounds like someone i know=) yes i'm part of the oh-i'm-so-emotional-and-so-deeply-in-love-herd now..always believed that love was something you talked yourself into..well..i couldn't have been more wrong..and i'm in love with that also..

I think this song is about finding peace on Earth appreciating things and people

Could be about love, but the aloen part in the 5th verse is misleading.

I think it's just the generally feeling of happiness and pure tranquility with yourself.

Airplanes actually give me that feeling, looking out at the clouds, with nothing to do but sit and relax and think.

I think: She's daydreaming about love and a person! She feels so calm with the thought of him, however she's not with him, alone, looking at him in "heaven." Beautiful song...very peaceful...but again, a little melancholy, I think it's her concept of "I can't be with him" again. Which I love. Haha. <3

Imogen Heap is my favorite musical artists, and my this is probably in my top five favorite songs of hers... I love it and her.
