Roll It Over Lyrics
I can give a hundred million reasons
To build a barricade
I blame it on the changing of the seasons
The thoughts that I've conveyed
Does it make it all right?
It doesn't make it all right
To roll it over my soul and leave me here
Roll it over my soul and leave me here
Look around at all the plastic people
Who live without a care
Try to sit with me around my table
But never bring a chair
Does it make it all right?
It doesn't make it all right
To roll it over my soul and leave me here
Roll it over my soul and leave me here
To build a barricade
I blame it on the changing of the seasons
The thoughts that I've conveyed
It doesn't make it all right
Roll it over my soul and leave me here
Who live without a care
Try to sit with me around my table
But never bring a chair
It doesn't make it all right
Roll it over my soul and leave me here

I'm surprised there's not a lot of comments on this song. I think it's the best song on this CD and it may be one of my favorite Oasis songs! For whatever reason, it reminds me a lot of Pink Floyd, at least the Pink Floyd post Roger Waters.
Beautiful way to end the CD.
this song is amazing
The riff in the middle is from "Come Together" This song has some great lyrics, for example: "Look around at all the plastic people who live without a care Try to sit with me around my table but never bring a chair"
A hidden gem I ignored all these years. Its an amazing song for sure..
Noel&Liam say..Roll it Over-"My own favourite. It´s about people that gossip, I know lots of people that do it, especially women. It´s a catchy and happy song that shows the direction that we like to go in the future. It´s more gospel influenced, bigger and more psychedelic."
Catchy and happy? Really? It sounds fuckin depressing. It's brilliant though.

i'll probably post this same message about a bunch of oasis songs but who cares its true: this song fucking rules, oasis fucking rules, nuff said.
who reckons mat2710 is full of shit when he puts Noel&Liam say
Not me, they did say that
i think the song is talking about changes in people and yes, about gossip and problems like such...
"Maybe that's what this song is about -- you, the fuckers, who don't appreciate this kind of music." That could be it, and I believe Standing on the Should of Giants should have gotten better reviews.
Great song.One of the best.
