I think this song is about a girlfriend who does drugs: "What have you been doing to yourself? It's the last thing you should do" Drugs could kill you. "Nobody laughs any more" The drugs have gone out of hand

i agree with scimitar, it's pretty straight forward. i love the 'catch the last bus with me' line. i can really relate to this song atm.
