When I first discovered this song, I literally listened to it 25 times in a few days. I love this song for the sound of it, Dido's voice and the lyrics.

This song is about someone who is maybe a little type A personality caught up in their knowledge of politics but they find someone who makes them forget all the things that make them worried about the state of the world. The best part, and what makes this song very realistic, is this line: 'Bout a month ago I'd never seen your faceI'd never heard your voice 'Bout a month ago I am a careful hunter And I had to searchBefore I found your love 'Bout a month ago The reason why is b/c it's only in the beginning of the relationship where someone mesmerizes you and makes you forget your problems, after a while the relationship and it's ensuing difficulties tend to become part of your problems. It's just not realistic or even healthy to be so infatuated with someone who makes you forget everything, like they are a drug. It's only exciting like this in the beginning. Then the relationship after a while settles into the familiar. She's known him for only a month at this point.
