Don't Fear The Reaper Lyrics

All our times have come
Here but now they're gone
Seasons don't fear the reaper
Nor do the wind, the sun or the rain
So come on baby, (don't fear the reaper)
Take my hand (don't fear the reaper)
We'll be able to fly (don't fear the reaper)
Cause baby, I'm your man...
Baby, I'm your man...

Valentine is done
Here but now they're gone
Romeo and Juliet
Are together in eternity (Romeo and Juliet)
40,000 men and women everyday (like Romeo and Juliet)
Another 40,000 everyday (we can be like they are)
So come on baby (don't fear the reaper)
Take my hand (don't fear the reaper)
We'll be able to fly (don't fear the reaper)
Cause baby, I'm your man...
Baby, I'm your man...

Romeo and Juliet
Are together in eternity (Romeo and Juliet)
So come on baby (don't fear the reaper)
Take my hand (don't fear the reaper)
We'll be able to fly (don't fear the reaper)
Baby, I'm your man...
Baby, I'm your man...

Heh heh, I first heard this song in the movie "Scream". I like it, but I find it kind of funny that this song is playing during a point when Billy and Sidney are kissing and the songs called "Don't Fear the Reaper"... then I actually listened to it and it's like a couple committing suicide together, which is kinda romantic in an insanely screwed up way.

This is such a beautiful but at the same time haunting song. I too heard this first time while watching scream. Since than it\'s become one of my favourite songs. As a little fun fact for horrorfans this song (In another version is actually in Halloween too:-D)

I first heard this song in Stephen king's The Stand. To me its about someone who has died, and they are trying to tell their loved one that they don't have to be afraid to die, That in the end it will all be ok. I agree with pursuitoflife original is better.
