I love this song.I think the song is about how people can stray away from who they really are for the sake of someone else.basically this song means the result of peer pressure

my fav verse-it has so much meaning. plastic thief is referring to an amateur of something-it's like a good kid starting to steal because of peer pressure starving himself means what he's doing is mentally killing him-boring. the sea of hunger could mean the absence of his usual fun activities
