great lyrics, strong analogies
This one is all about linking the other parts of the story together, setting up for the final conclusions of the last two songs. The part I find strongest is Victoria repeating the last words of The Sleeper, which I think ties into the idea of it being the last step of Nicks journey. The last time he enters the past and has the truth revealed.
The way this song starts right after the Dance of Eternity is just amazing. The tension of that song followed by the piano intro of this song gives me chills.
This song has one of the strongest, most emotional melodies on the whole album and is repeated in Finally Free as Julian and Victoria are dying.
The lyrics are pretty self-explanatory...at the beginning, Nicholas has been shown this whole story and parts of it seem false to him, which they are. He still doesn't quite understand. The end is about to be revealed.
