I THINK that what this song is saying is that there are always going to be angels among us in a way, whether u can or cant see them. they might be a real angel they might be your best friend but somehow someway u will know when u find them. and in times of need and hurt when someone comes to comfort u or to tell u it is going to be ok or tryes to help u that that shows they care and understand what u r going through.
this song is telling people that no matter what you do or where u are, there is always somebody watching over u. This is one of my favorite 'country songs'.
this song makes me incredibly sad everytime i hear it. last year my friend's brother (ryan) committed suicide. they played a tape of ryan singing it from a choir concert the year before...

i was a little kid and everytime i heard this song cause of the line "a phone call from a friend, just to say I understand" cause my best friend moved that year. i was only like 8, but i still feel it when i hear it
This song makes me think about life and how there really are angels among us. They help us through our tough times and guide us through life. I only listen to country music, and this is a really great song!
