It sounds to me like its about an old friend who is going along a path that he disagrees with. And these guys are breaking up! That sucks sooo much.

this song reminds me of my best friend who I rarely talk to...im hoping that in the future I will again though....hopefully when "things are slow again."
This song for me always meant an infinite amount whenever I felt distant from my closest friends. Sometimes life gets to be so much that you lose the relationships and connections that matter the most. This song is by far one of my favorites ever.
