Explode Lyrics
this song is so good how come nodoby is in here come on people???!!!!!!!
You're right!! I think The Cardigans should have more people in here!! I think that it's talking about some kind of like a drug addiction thing-At least I think it is...but anyway, this song is good!!
Nina Persson has a dreamy voice.
This song is so pretty. It's really beautiful - the cardigans don't get enough recognition on here =) some of their songs are so bright and refreshing and some are just plain gorgeous.
sounds like she is talking about a friend who has a drug addiction and is offering to help them kick the habit. she even reassures them that things will work out (We'll pay them double Not to look at you for a while)... now here is where i get a little torn, is she talking about a significant other or a friend?
And you rely on What you get high on And you last just as long as it serves you
"you last"...sexually or personality wise?
I too think it's about someone close to her with an addiction and she's offering help.
"Ease your trouble We'll pay them double"
You have to take responsibility for your feelings and thoughts and learn how to deal with them. Otherwise they'll return to you twice as hard, cause now there's the addiction too. So "we'll pay them double".
This is the perfect song to listen to while high
I think the speaker's an enabler. "To ease your trouble, we'll pay them double." It's a co-dependant relationship, because the subject of the song "last[s] just as long as it serves" them. Incredibly beautiful, but definitely a dark song.
i think this song is about someone who just got so sick of the world and basically the cardigans is telling this person that even if he/she burst out in anger or burst in an implode way (drug/alcohol/cutter) theyre gonna still standing beside this person, (we will carry you). amazing song
This song has me confused I read the post in here I think one thing then I talk to my friend who has been a Cardigans fan 4ever and she said the song is about someone ready to lose it if things don't change.
