If I'm not wrong, its about the philosophy principle. You never know about the truth unless you see it. Even then, nobody will want to know and they will ignore you

This song is about Plato's allegory of the Cave. In the allegory, Plato describes people born as prisoners chained in a cave, unable to turn their heads. All they can see is the wall of the cave. Behind them burns a fire. Between the fire and the prisoners there is a parapet, along which puppeteers can walk. The puppeteers, who are behind the prisoners, hold up puppets that cast shadows on the wall of the cave. The prisoners are unable to see these puppets, the real objects, that pass behind them. What the prisoners see and hear are shadows and echoes cast by objects that they do not see. Such prisoners would mistake appearance for reality. Then according to Plato, one of the men breaks the chains and manages to get out of the cave and sees the light of day and real objects for the first time. His duty is to go back to the cave and release all others from their shackles. Some people will follow him, but some are convinced that the shadows on the cave are the real life and they will be hard to be persuaded to abandon their enslaved life. The chained people are all of us, believing in false ideals and living in a corrupted society. The man who broke the chains is the Philosopher, who sees the truth of life and its true forms and tries to awaken the rest of the people. In this case, it could be the artist, trying to awaken and stimulate people with his music.
