This song rocks. I like the line that says "take your passion, and make it happen." I think it's just about doing what you love and kicking ass doing it. It reminds me of how I feel about art and music.

it underscores a dirty secret in life, that whatever you want to be all you have to do is believe it...
I say all you have to do but that's the hard part. Irene Cara acknowledges "a world made of steel/Made of stone" and that makes internal belief so difficult. You have to work to break this world down to see it's all about what you believe. And if you believe it, you be it.

This is amazing song..it's evergreen..and emotional. It's about believing in yourself and making your dreams come true: "Take your passion, and make it happen". The song is played in the beginning and at the end of the movie "Flashdance". I like it there! It's all about American dream...
