I love this song. It was released just around the time that my best friend of my entire life (almost 16 years at the time), decided he didn't want to be friends with me anymore.

I dedicated this song to him, on many nights of laying in bed crying my guts out over losing him because I loved him so much. This is the way he acted towards me, and the way I felt towards him.

Sometimes it just amazes me how a song can be released that defines exactly how you're feeling at that exact moment in time.

I love this song - I'd completely forgotten it, but it came on the radio the other day and I just had to look it up again. Interestingly enough, I always wondered who the girl singing was, and it turns out that it's Sia Furler (she did 'Breathe Me', the song on the Postsecret video), who's currently dating JD Samson from Le Tigre.
