My friends feel it's their appointed duty
They keep tryna tell me
All you want to do is use me
But my answer, yeah
Yeah, to all that use me stuff

I-i-i, and I wanna spread the news
That if it feels this good getting used
Oh, you just keep on using me
Until you use me up
Until you use me up

My brother
Sit me right down and he talked to me
Oh-oh, he told me, yeah
That I ought not to let you just walk on me
And I'm sure he meant well
Yeah, but when our talk was through

I-i-i said, brother
If you only knew you'd wish that you were in my shoes
You just keep on using me
Until you use me up
Until you use me up

Oh-oh, sometimes
It's true, you really do abuse me
Oh, you get me in a crowd of high-class people
And then you act real rude to me

Aah-ha, but, oh baby, baby, baby, baby
When you love me, I can't get enough
I, I, I wanna spread the news
That if it feels this good getting used
Girl, you just keep on using me
Until you use me up
Until you use me up

Talkin' 'bout you usin' people
It all depends on what you do
It ain't too bad the way you're usin' me
'Cause I sure am usin' you
To do the things you do
Ah, how to do the things you do

AS FOR THE REAL SONG MEANING,

He is in a relationship, but its probably lacking some of the elements of a healthy relationship.

She is using him, and he doesn't deny it. Withers doesn't explain in which way. Often times, men complain, and sing about, women using them for money.

The premise of the song is that His friends keep warning him that she's using him, but he doesn't mind, because he's basically using her. If it's money, for example, then she gets to shop at Nieman Marcus and drive a drop top at his expense, yet he gets to watch them sweet, sweet titties bounce up and down while he lies back and gets his world rocked! He generally has fun rolling around while they do all sorts of crazy things to each other all hours of the night. Its a fair trade off.

Fortnight
Taylor Swift
The song 'Fortnight' by Taylor Swift and Post Malone tells a story about strong feelings, complicated relationships, and secret wishes. It talks about love, betrayal, and wanting someone who doesn't feel the same. The word 'fortnight' shows short-lived happiness and guilty pleasures, leading to sadness. It shows how messy relationships can be and the results of hiding emotions. “I was supposed to be sent away / But they forgot to come and get me,” she kickstarts the song in the first verse with lines suggesting an admission to a hospital for people with mental illnesses. She goes in the verse admitting her lover is the reason why she is like this. In the chorus, she sings about their time in love and reflects on how he has now settled with someone else. “I took the miracle move-on drug, the effects were temporary / And I love you, it’s ruining my life,” on the second verse she details her struggles to forget about him and the negative effects of her failure. “Thought of callin’ ya, but you won’t pick up / ‘Nother fortnight lost in America,” Post Malone sings in the outro.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,
