War Lyrics
Oh, come crush me now
Don't leave
No one has won this war
This time
No, don't sleep tonight
I'm hurt and ready for fire
Don't leave me up
Alarmed and ready to die
Come on, it's war, come on
Come on, come on, come on
Come on, it's war, come on
Please, I'm almost done
Don't you treat
I've loaded my gun
With love, with...
Hear the dust roll over the floor
Why must you sleep?
Come crush me now
I'm armed
And ready to die
Come on, it's war, come on
Come on, come on, come on
Come on, it's war, come on
And if you're peaceful when you sleep
Give the facile
It's such an easy way to choose
You loose
Come on, it's war, come on
Come crush me now
Come on, come on, come on
Come on, it's war, come on
Come crush me now
Come on, come on, come on
Come on, fight me, come on
And if you're peaceful when you sleep
Give the facile
It's such an easy way to choose
You loose
Don't leave
No one has won this war
This time
I'm hurt and ready for fire
Don't leave me up
Alarmed and ready to die
Come on, come on, come on
Come on, it's war, come on
Don't you treat
I've loaded my gun
With love, with...
Hear the dust roll over the floor
Why must you sleep?
Come crush me now
I'm armed
And ready to die
Come on, come on, come on
Come on, it's war, come on
Give the facile
It's such an easy way to choose
You loose
Come crush me now
Come on, come on, come on
Come on, it's war, come on
Come crush me now
Come on, come on, come on
Come on, fight me, come on
Give the facile
It's such an easy way to choose
You loose

i'm almost sure it is "beautiful creep". i guess the meaning of this song is something like she wants to solve their problems because she care about him and their relationship is not ok but he doesn't care at all so she called it war. i like the way she sings a lot, it's very relaxing to listen to her voice singing "come on, it's war, come on" or "you look so peaceful when you sleep". and very beautiful.
and i also think that when she sings "It's such an easy way to choose, You loose", she's telling him that if he doesn't care and he won't change a thing, he will loose her.
i think that this song is about a girl who has basically given up; her boyfriend wants nothing but sex even when she's on her period (i've loaded my gun with blood)? but he only uses her for his own pleasure and refuses to give her pleasure or satisfaction
I think this song is about some guy who just wants to sleep but his girlfriend "needs to talk" but he just wanna sleep and she is ready to kill him because she wants to talk and this guy is asleep. I'm not speaking from experience or anything…
i don't think its just to talk.. sounds more like a heated argument and anger because it's entirely one sided like the other person doesn't care
i think it's "you look so peaceful when you sleep, beautifully" and not "and if you're peaceful when you sleep, give the facile" no?
okay. it's not "beutifully". it's "beautiful creep". or something.
I thought it sounded a little like "beatiful creed" and I always thought that it was "loaded my gun with blood", not "love", even though every single lyric place anywhere says otherwise.
maybe it's just me, in fact, it probably is just me, but I just always thought of this song as someone telling their significant other that they weren't completely satisfied during sex. I guess it just gives me that impression because of the rhythm and feel of the song, and some of the lyrics such as "come crush me now, don't leave, no one has won this war" and "don't leave me up, alarmed and ready to die"... I guess it COULD be an unresolved argument, but I didn't take the lyrics literally, like I do with most songs... I just immediately thought "unsatisfied during sex".. eh >:)
Oh, for some reason this reminds me of the scene in Mr & Mrs Smith where she is crying and begging him to shoot her so she has a reason to shoot him, but she loves him too much to be the first one to shoot. She's saying come on, come on. I suppose that's why it reminded me of this.
