Diazepam Lyrics

Just ignore the red phone bill. Just put it up on the sill and close your eyes. It'll be there in the morning. Just get some sleep before the sun. Lay down your head because you're the lucky one. You're in. You're out. This a fucking warning. This is a warning. Let go of possibilities. Just lay your wallet next to me. You never wanted it to be that way but your parents want it to be that way. Just stay right were you are. Just stay right were you are. One more month of broken glass, and one more sitting on your ass. You're in. You're out. This a fucking warning. Yeah, because all plots tend toward death you've read, but don't you get that through your head. You just remember what the landlord said because Diazepam, it will leave you dead yeah. Just stay right where you are.

Cover art for Diazepam lyrics by Karate

Diazepam is a type of tranquilizer, so this song seems to be about someone who is addicted to tranquilizers, possibly? It makes sense when I look at the lyrics with that idea in mind. I'm not sure if that's right, though.

sounds right to me. karate fucking rules.
