holy shit, nobody's posted? How does THAT work? Great song, obviously. One of their best. Eh, it's pretty much one of those songs you take at face value, someone in a band gets famous, and the gossip starts before he even makes it big. The only lines that say anything else are:

Its about fame, and a sarcastic lets get famous because this is what happens its easy and they will all talk about us!
I think it's about being in a small town where all people ever do is gosip about the crap that everyone else has gotten in to, and being in a depression, so it's saying "Fuck it! Fuck them! Get famous! Work your ass off, and make something out of this nothingness. Give them something real and awesome to bitch about!"

I liked this song when I was in high school cause it reminded me of my and my friends. we used to go up the hill to where the train was and stand next to the tracts. we would stand there till after the train went by. now that i think of it, probably not the safest thing to do, but that's high school.
