the will of good men Lyrics
Fading son leaves darkened skies behind.
You're breaking outcomes harsh implied.
Your tears flow from a source unknown...
What's in it for you? Your son...
Can't make shores draw red.
Relax your grasp again. Killed by duty.
Twist the pins that burrow into you.
This isn't yours.
Fight for air, Fight for air.
Writing black words. And i'm gone.
Running backwards to this internship gone wrong.
Five days till Friday and i'm gone.
What's in it for you? Your son.
Your son.

wow no one is comenting on here, well i liek this song, i think its about a mom that is in a job or somthing that they dont enjoy or i having problems and she is only in it for her so, maybe to raise him,im not sure, but i love this song...
I'll comment. This song is an awesome song. Not all of it but the part where he says Writing Black Words. And I'm Gone. Is simply amazing... I get the chills every time I hear it. I don't have a prefrence about what it's about but it's a good song either way.
i definitly agree what the first person said. but this song tells such an intricate story. i think theres references to addiction in this. to add on what the first person said, i think this song is about a mother that is trying to provide and raise her son, but is going through many problems such as drug addiction, a job she hates (most likely an internship), a loss of faith, and just the stress of everyday life on her shoulders, and possibly walking out. theres also a reference to sunday (five days till friday) which made me think of the loss of faith thing, or it could just be the mother walking out that day.
