Fix what’s wrong, but don’t rewrite what the artist wrote. Stick to the official released version — album booklet, label site, verified lyric video, etc. If you’re guessing, pause and double-check.
Respect the structure
Songs have rhythm. Pages do too. Leave line breaks where they belong. Don’t smash things together or add extra empty space just for looks.
Punctuation counts (but vibe-editing doesn’t)
Correct typos? Yes. Re-punctuating a whole verse because it ‘looks better’? Probably not. Keep capitalization and punctuation close to the official source.
Don’t mix versions
If you’re editing the explicit version, keep it explicit. If it’s the clean version, keep it clean. No mashups.
Let the lyrics be lyrics
This isn’t the place for interpretations, memories, stories, or trivia — that’s what comments are for. Keep metadata, translations, and bracketed stage directions out unless they’re officially part of the song.
Edit lightly
If two lines are wrong… fix the two lines. No need to bulldoze the whole page. Think ‘surgical,’ not ‘remix.’
When in doubt, ask the crowd
Not sure what they’re singing in that fuzzy bridge? Drop a question in the comments and let the music nerds swarm. Someone always knows.
Dude, y'all don't understand! This has to be the coolest song on the whole fruckin' album. Seriously. Ok, put this album in your stereos or what have you and skip to this song, turn the volume up really really really really loudly and listen towards the end of this song. Maynard is whispering different lines from the songs on the album. The first line he whispers is "Unmistakable noise I was hearing..." which I think fits perfectly cause I'm sure not a lot of people realize what's going on at this part of the song. Your best bet would be to get headphones and a disc-man and turn the volume up the whole way, you can hear it best that way. Freakingly amazing.
Whenever I hear this song, I kind of see myself on top of a building or a cliff. And the lyrics are going through my head, like I'm singing it to myself, out of my mind. And then at the end, I jump, and all the jumbled stuff is like memories, and then suddenly I hit the ground when the song ends. It's a depressing song and has always produced that sort of imagery. To me it means, basically, someone going through troubled times and just suddenly snapping and going out of their mind. The song is sort of hauntingly beautiful.
At the very end of the song you can hear little pieces and parts of the other songs on the album. Most distinctly I can her the "I will" part from "Rose." I can tell there's more being said, but can't make it all out. I always thought this song would have been a good fit on 13th step, as in being over the drug cycle. However, since it's on this album I'd say that it's about letting go of the people themselves or the feelings associated with the people.
I'm not sure what Iced was thinkin..
Personally I have no idea what this song means at all, but I find it surprising that he hadnt heard the end part, thats one of the first things I noticed about the song the first time I listened to it..
It has something from about 4 different songs in it,..
Personally, this song is my favorite from the whole album, it's a bit short, but it almost makes me cry, and the music itself is so simple but so beautiful...
Anyhow.. the words at the end I believe are all from about every song once I listen, at the end it gets jumbled around alot...
This song is simple but great. I love the begenning, and how the lyrics just repeat themselves, there is nothing to hate about this song. I also think Brena is amazing, i think by far it is the best song on the album, although the whole album is great. the lyrics and the music.

it means the album is over, that or just gettin sick of something of the past that keeps on popin up n stuff
This to me is one of the most emotional and beautiful things. I always thought it was completely 'BEEN over this' and never 'AND over this'..
but anyway, I think it means something keeps happening over and over and it's getting tiring. It's obvious when he says "so over this"
as in, I'm so over this.

Correct lyrics:
Been over Been over this before Been over and over Been over this before
And over Been over this before
So over this Been over this So over this Been over this Over this before

No Julie, Orestes is the coolest song.
Orestes is great but 3 Libras is the most touching and emotional to me. But this is just my opinion. Orestes is an amazing song as well!
