Wow, i totally agree. Ive heard this song many a time (and loved it). but only now do i realise the meaning.. Was Jay Kay clean at the time when he wrote this song?

Jamiroquai are pure FUNK!! I ahte it when people tell me they are shit, all their music sound the same,.. well, don't all oasis sound the same?, beatles sound the same?? each band has their sound that what you like about em! I beg to disagree with the comment that this song is about masturbation.

I think this is still about drugs and the high one experiences when taking it. The dead giveaway in the lyric is "And every breath I take just makes it clear".

Since Jay himself has admitted in the album Live In Montreux that he does smoke a joint every now and then, and he is a well-known recreational (or otherwise) drug user (his other songs have references to drugs as well) this song is specifically about the high drugs give him.

I'm kind of going out on a limb here, but this song may very well be about masturbation.

This says he's all alone, basically.

Holding heaven in your hands. Well, one's hands are usually the tools of the trade. And "It's automatic" is basically a process completed my itself, and it is a process completed for the person by the person.

Playing with a 'pleasure trafficker". One's stuff certainly can be called one of those. "Arriving soon intergalactica" suggests he's about to reach his 'destination' his goal, his climax.

Like I said, I might be going out on a limb here, but the more I look into it, the more I think this song is about masturbation, just in a very cosmic metaphor.
