Canta Libre Lyrics

Canta libre, Canta vida, de mi madre, y mi padre,
Canta mi corazon, Para los ninos, y sus ninos, canta libre.

I got music runnin' in my head,
Makes me feel like a young bird flyin',
'Cross my mind and layin' in my bed,
Keeps me away from the thought of dyin'.
Canta libre, Canta vida, de mi madre y mi padre.

I got music runnin' in my brain,
Ev'ry song with it's own kind of meaning,
Cleanse the soul and wash away the pain,
Baptized by the song that you're singing.
Canta libre, Canta la vida,
siempre conmigo, canta libre.

Canta libre, canta la vida.

Canta mi corazon, Paralos ninos, y sus ninos, canta libre,
de mi madre, y mi padre, canta libre, canta libre.

Inner thought is the only true freedom. Music is the air expression of thoughts, views, hopes and dreams. Freedom is always under some challenge, attack or another man's attempt to limit such of others.

I Can't believe that nobody has commented here, can't y'all hear a man crying out?

He's in pain and seeking the most basic of human sentient needs... F R E E D O M !!!

To the human soul, this is more important than food, water or shelter.

PETA Waxs rapsodic about animal liberation, what about mans?

This is not necessarily Political freedom either. It's the freedom of the human spirit. Yes it mentions freedom for his family, and on some level he maybe thinking of True Liberation from the oppressors that have been allowed to take hold in the countries to our south, because governments are more intereste in involving themselves in the pursuits of a hunger for oil etc. rather than the freedom that they profess to be so universally important. em... Sorry for the soap box...

No, I don't think that was anymore than a fleeting thought for Neil Diamond here; he was thinking of himself and the difficulties he experienced at the time. when in the grip of oppresive struggles in life, then 'freedom' becomes a 'glass sealing' that you can't break... like the only freedom you have are the thoughts in your head, thoughts musings and songs are the only escape.
