Need You Like A Drug

this is like the really loudly played song in a club when your trying to get out.

I think it's about a guy/girl trying to get used to being without the significant other, or trying to break up with them, but kissing them just ruins that, and they "need them like a drug."

I just found this song. It's fantastic!!

I don't think the kissing is significant to the meaning of the song; it's simply about the obsession one person has for another. Perhaps to the other the kiss is simply a kiss, but for our narrator, it makes them fall even deeper into love -or just obsession. The other person can't be "touched" or "hurt" because they simply aren't affected by the contact between the two of them.

To me it means that the singer really doesn't want to be in this relationship but whomever this egotistical bitch/bastard is, they have gorgeous looks. The sex appeal is too much.

"Need you like a drug," -- in this case, I think it means recreational drugs and to the point, no one needs them to start off. But the more and more someone keeps going back to one, especially hard drugs, the harder it is to break it off. So, metaphorically, this person that the singer knows just isn't good for them to start off with is so appealing that he keeps finding himself unable to break the relationship completely off, every time he gives in to kissing them "You keep fucking it up,".

To the point: singer wants the relationship to end but the sex/lifestyle appeal/charm of that other person is too much to completely stop without falter.
