Eurotrash Lyrics
We are nothing but Eurotrash
We take Plastic and we take Cash
We are selling an image
Everything must go
I want you to know
You don't want the side FX
You wanna .com
New simulated sex
We're selling you heaven
Prices down to a low
I thought you should know
It's all in your head
You're living a lie
There is nothing
Money can't buy
We are nothing but Eurotrash
We take Plastic and we take Cash
We sell our hearts second class
We slit our throats on tinted glass
We're silicon stitches
Reality bites hard
I want you to know
It's all in your head
You're living a lie
There is nothing Money can't buy
We are nothing but Eurotrash
We take Plastic and we take Cash
We sell our hearts second class
We slit our throats on tinted glass
It's all in your head
You're living a lie
There is nothing
Money can't buy
The future is here
Dreams have no end
Everything must go
We are nothing but Eurotrash
We take Plastic and we take Cash
We sell our hearts second class
We slit our throats on tinted glass
We take Plastic and we take Cash
Everything must go
I want you to know
You don't want the side FX
You wanna .com

Um, why would they be talking about capitalist american society, when the title of the song is EUROtrash? Last I checked, America was not in Europe. ;)
hmm.... a comment on the capitalist american society? i dunno, sounds good to listen to though lol :p
I think they said this song was kinda making fun of themselves because people always call them "eurotrash" or something to that extent.. but they could also be mocking America.. you know instead of white trash, haha.
I think it's about how people now will try to sell anything, and how the internet and technology etc has made all this easier and made people greedier.
Something like that anyway.
Eurotrash is an American name for a teenage "clique" of european students that think they are better than everyone else.
Anyway, what area of the world "sells sex"? Let's think about that for a second? In American do advertisements consist of basically.. soft porn? No. That's Europe. If you want to talk about "selling sex" you are not talking about America. We don't have freedom & we aren't allowed to "sell sex" because that's anti-Christian & only Christians matter in America.
Duh.
this song is about the whole world in general but mostly europe because of its free nature when it comes to sex and how we all use technolagy as an escape from life
I think this song is talking about a clique of people, though it kinda applies to more than one group of people these days. It's about people who are too materialistic, who care more about being something rather than accepting themselves for who they are. It's about a future of greed. "everything must go" almost like a sale. Soon there will be nothing without a price. Perhaps he was trying to send a message to us, not just a group. As for it being "all in your head", it is. It's what's important as long as you think that's what is important.
I think Sangle got it.
This song is awesome, btw.
Couldn't resist it and finally created a login here, so my very first comment :)
I always thought that the title is a reference to the "Eurosong" thing. Honestly, it is rather eurotrash, isn't it? They pick some average or below-average singers and sell them heaven, image... price is low, everything of it must go, so the audience will pay much for it. And they'll make them forget making music for music - there's nothing money can't buy; for example popularity and success. Dreams have no end - the new born star feels that it'll shine on like this forever. We all know how it ends, eh? Reality bites hard, silicon stitches won't help that much as expected...
I know I am damn against pop music. Can't help myself :)
