From listening to the song I didn't think it would actually have interesting lyrics but it does. Too bad though, once I started reading I was thinking of maybe sending them to my bf but when it said this love doesn't mean a thing, I decided against that idea!

this song is so beautiful. I love how expressive and emotional it is.

I play this song, loud, alot, and drift away. The film Cruel Intentions features the film (which isnt my taste) but the whole soundtrack, inc This Love, is brilliant..

well, except for Fat Boy Slim.. who've I've never liked.

This song... powerful captures the essence of a deep love that everyone should feel at least once in their life.

i heard this song at the end of an ep of third watch, and i needed to hear the whole thing, i think it's an excellent song, and is so true to my relationship right now, and i think that the line
"It doesn't mean a thing" refers to the lines precedding it "Doesn't have to feel love Doesn't care to be love" because just because others or even yourself is not sure that is in fact love, it doesn't matter because you know that the feelings you have are strong, and want them to be unique to you

I've seen cruel intentions again since posting that last message. i don't think it suited the scene, or the movie. although the song and the movie are both great

"And turn 'em in your fingers, love" This line has some alternatives, such as "It didn't mean a thing, love", listen to the song- you can't tell, it's vague, but it could bring a whole new meaning to the song.
