i cant belives nobody has commented on this song! i love it!. i see it as this girl who is more in love with the boy than he is with her, and she doesnt want to let him know how much she cares about him because then he can reject her, so they both go through their relationship brushing everything off like it doesnt matter but she finally loses it and admits how much she likes him and she wants to know what he thinks
I think it's about two best friends, the girl is in love with the boy and wants to tell him that but he doesn't see her that way
I don't necessarily think this song is about rejection...I think it's more about enjoying a relationship without defining it. Once it's been analyzed and defined then there are rules and expectations.
A lot of the time people feel the need to attach a deep meaning to events in life and they over-think everything to the point that they're not living those moments.
