Scott the lead singer is looking back on a relationship he could be having where things are fucking up so fast he cant seem to see a reason why it is happening at all.

i don't think it's specifically about a relationship, but more about life in general. scott is asking why he is alive and on this earth because he is having all these problems and looking back on happier days. he isn't understanding why all this bad shit is happening and wants some answers.
