That song is my favourite of all. Another intelligent song from Grey Daze. For me that song mean that even if he's broken and has problems, it doent mean he's stupid and he get out of this anytime.
I understand this song as getting away from pain and memories =] This is just my opinion =]
This song seems like he finally found religion or something he believes in. He's seen what he's seen and now has faith that what he believes in is true.
To me this song seems to be about having faith that things will get better, though you're having a hard time in the moment.

The line "I'm alright though it's hard to feel" could symbolize preteding you'e alright though you're not or that you're alright eventhough you're having a hard time.
