alright ive thought about this song alot and i want to change some stuff, ok he's trying to show the girl how he feels, and im thinking by swimming with you he dosnt mean talking to her i think he means being real like expressing the way he feels about her, and at the momment he would'nt want to make things awkward so he talks around it and then he's found the time and once he's poured his heart out to her he wont ever keep his feelings felt for himself

i think its about waiting for someone to make up their mind and you want them to change things between you two. or just waiting for them to say "ok, i love you." but you know its probably not going to happen. so you won't hold your breath. and swimming is a difficult task if you don't hold your breath.
