c'mon people, this song kicks!
this song is awsome, it seems like this song is about creation. i love how the chours sounds i love brandon's spunk the old brandon's rapping type thing i really like it
I agree with Incubus Gigbutt on the environment thing and how furutre generations shouldn't pay for the present's mistakes. But I also think it's about how someone people only care about money in life and they waste away their whole life trying to get and keep money ("To be rich, that would be great. No, but it doesn't mean POO-POO without your nest!"). Can anyone explain the little bit at the end where their talking to that guy? (Speaking in tongues) Is it members of the band or just some random people? ;)
i love this song, and i think it is a great point made, but put in a musical form which rocks my world. and that tongues stuff at the end -- i am not sure who it is, i always just assume it's people from the band and some guy. but whoever it is, its funny. it cracks me up every time. the song itself is so much above a lot of other rock bands. incubus has some damn good riffs going on all of their music, and i really love this whole feel. It makes me feel really good to listen to this song... modify your version so we can carry on.... i love the way brandon speaks it.
I just got Enjoy Incubus and I have to say, this is my fav song on the cd. It shows that Incubus really does play all types of music. I can picture this song playing at a pool party or something. Very mellow and fun sounding with a deep meaning.
Oh yeah... I think this song is about how government takes over our lives and we should get rid of it. Or something like that. And I think that it also might be about religion too b/c I know Brandon thinks religion in a restriction.
The speaking in tongues thing at the end is great and b/c of that, I think it might be about religion.
the ending part.. that's Brandon and their old DJ..Gavin Koppel. speaking gibberish. Brandon was doing the beginning i think (i haven't listened to the song in a while) and Gavin was attempting Brandon's gibberish tongue n stuff. ...i'm so glad he left the band.. he was a bad influence for Incubus..
I love the how the song moves from a jazzy feel to a heavy alternative feel. I am obssesed with this song.
this is a farely unknown incubus song, although i think its one of my fevorites. Incubus where just incredible during their Fungus/science stage, not that they arent now, but the style of music they where playing then was just amazing and it is very different to anything else going around.
Definately a feel-good song. One of my favorites.
