wow. i've never heard this song before. it's really hardcore truth though. Jesus is the Savior of the prostitutes, Drunkards, rapists, and the gays. i've always known that, but i'm just realizing that now....its really something to think about.
Sickly True,.......this is something many Christians look over, many of us are willing to go over seas and try and minister to people who can't even speak english, but for the prostitute on the coner, "I'll just drive by every nite and hope she finds a better life" we can't think that even if we know that the money we give to a homless person will just end up spent on boos or Cocain, "Every person deserves the benifit of a doubt"
Somewere in the Bible it talks about how we are as God, and should treat others as through they were God. This does not mean to worship them as we do God, but show unconditional love toward them. I think when the song says "So different from his pictures, Breathing air through yellowed tubes, Jesus Christ, dying of AIDS, Can look right through you." It shows B.S.S takeing this litteraly. And it does not mean to just accept the people who do bad things and live bad lives, but it means to love them pray for them and help them to come to know Jesus. Because as the song says He is their Savior too, even though thay have hated Him.
