This is one of my favorite NFG songs. I love the lines "tie the rope me once more, I might bend but I won't break. Take this time out to find yourself, take this timeout to learn." Its like the relationship he's singing about isn't good and its coming to an end and he's tired of it but he's realizing that he's strong enough to handle it. Even though he loves this girl, he's hurting because of her and their relationship. This song came at the right time in my life and totally described how things were at the time.
I agree with NFG&Punk. No matter how hard you try to be friends again, memories or heartache and pain will always interfear (sp?).
k dogg is absolutely right. That line is my favorite, too. It can pretty much be about any situation in life.. not just love. Of course since this IS A New Found Glory, what else could it be about? Haha.
