It starts by talking about the blandness of everyday: you get up at a certain time, you have to do something, it's boring and pointless and stupid but it's ok, it's fine. Time just keeps moving on.

Bringing up old arguments and continuing to fight them out even though you know you'll never convince the other person... you keep wanting to try despite knowing it's in vain. Why?

It's the reason you are happy, the reason you cry and have emotions and love and want to try.. the source, is what we came from, i take the meaning of this song kind of religiously actually.
