I cannot believe no-one has commented on this truly amazing song.

My dad played this song to me when he moved out and whenever I hear it I sob uncontrollably.
It is better than the Carole King version (sorry to those who prefer that one)
The meaning of the song is just so moving

This song reminds me of an old girlfriend who just wouldn't let me get close to her. Eventually, after $4,000 in expenses and months of crying, I decided to let her go.. This song brings back so many memories of when I would sit at home and cry over how much I wished she would be at my door. It doesn't help to know, she's so far away.. I love you K, and I will always be here if you decide to return - even if you never truly cared for me.
