This song is so ironic with many of the lyrics, it is genius. Rod Stewart says repeatedly that some guys do nothing but complain and that is exactly what he is doing. He called the lady he was interested , collect. Wow.. Yea that is gonna win her.. NOTTT. The man had the chutzpah to say that he would cry of happiness , I presume if the lady he is interested showed . Yet, he was such a cheapskate and could not even spend some coin on a phone call.

Great music and singalong "Woo woo woo'. The lyrics are from the insecure loser guy who complains about some other guys have all the love but he has none by singing in upbeat tempo for defeatist attitude. Genius
