I saw these guys open for Guster last night and they put on quite a show. Thier music is so nostalgic. Great for memories. From my interpretaion, this song is what I'm going though. I'm not getting personal about it. For anyone who hasn't heard them, check them out. I'm ready for some more song than this 5 song EP. If you lilke Sigur Ros you'll like these guys. Some of their stuff sounds similar to Coldplay's first album, but everyone i talk to has never listened to that one. Of course they all know CLocks.
Does anyone have the lyrics to wheat's b-side that has flat black, i met a girl, and the alternate version of don't i hold you, with a longer bridge with that contains words not in the regular version here?
Seems to me as if the guy in the song thinks he knows the person so well and tries to do everything right, but she is rejecting him.
this song is amazing. Soundboy, were you at the Norfolk, VA Guster show? As i was. Although, im not sure how you compare Wheat to Sigur Ros, but ok. they do have old stuff! The album is called Hopes and Adams and its on SugarFree Records. It contains the version of Dont I hold You above. The version which i like more.
