I'll Hate You Better Lyrics
In this world without harmony
Where there's no peace and there's no sanity
I can still survive and survive peacefully
Untill that moment when you crash down on me
Chorus:
'Cause I'll
I'll hate you better
'Cause I'll
I'll hate you better
You better watch how you direct your hate
Or you'll recieve part of my natural trait
Before you send off you just better wait
'Cause I ain't got time not to retaliate
Chorus
I'll, I'll hate you better
I'll hate you better
I'm not trying to treaten or to decieve
I'm just enlightening you so you won't be naive
I'll tell you one thing that you better beleave
My hate is better to give then to recieve
Chorus
I'll, I'll hate you better
I'll
Where there's no peace and there's no sanity
I can still survive and survive peacefully
Untill that moment when you crash down on me
'Cause I'll
I'll hate you better
'Cause I'll
I'll hate you better
Or you'll recieve part of my natural trait
Before you send off you just better wait
'Cause I ain't got time not to retaliate
I'll hate you better
I'm just enlightening you so you won't be naive
I'll tell you one thing that you better beleave
My hate is better to give then to recieve
I'll

It's a song about how hate is the antithesis to peace. However, the only way world peace would theoretically work is if everyone collectively decided it was in all of our best interests to be peaceful and cooperate with each other. Unfortunately, this has never happened in society EVER in the entire history of the human race. As a result, we have to be prepared to defend ourselves from the "haters" but the thing about that is, one can become cynical and jaded about the so-called "haters" and become a hater as a result perpetuating the vicious cycle for generations to come as has been done historically.
This song seems to express the frustration of this paradox.

ok you losers need help, all you guys only care about INSTITUTIONALIZED and you dont even get to knwo the other, and sometimes better songs that ST has made, ill agree though that institutionalized is way awesome, and is a great story/poem song, but come on and get a life, stop going with the crowd and what the musical circuit wants you to listen to its useless, ok? get a life and listen to what your heart desires, if you actually like the poppy popular songs, all the best to you, who am i to say, that those songs aren't what you like, im not, im just saying if given the chance , would you even listen to those bands, if they tryied not to go as mainstream, but more artsy, or more independent? i doubt it...i love green day, just as much as the next person, but all these wannabes only know of their american idiot album, get with it, and listen to songs like sassa fras roots, and i wont call you a wussy anymore...
And what does that have to do with this song? =/
This song is amazing. Love the arpeggios and how the music is all pretty but the lyrics aren't. Good shit. As for the meaning; it doesn't take a genius to figure it out.
this is a really good song, anybody that doesn't think so dosen't really no music at all, for me i like all kinds of music, not just one type. and i can say this song hits, simple song, but it hits.
The song is probably about how peace is possible, but people act hateful, which is why everyone denounces peace as being possible. It's not the world, it's you yourself being hateful.
