Quicksilver Girl Lyrics
She's a quicksilver girl
A lover of the world
She spreads her wings
And she's free
She's a quicksilver girl
A lover of the world
She's seen every branch
On the tree
Ah, ah, quicksilver girl
Ah, ah, quicksilver girl
Ah, ah, quicksilver girl
Ah, ah, quicksilver girl
Ahhhh, ahhhh, ahhhh, ahhhh
If you need a little lovin'
She'll turn on the heat
If you take a fall
She'll put you back on your feet
If you're all alone
She's someone to meet
If you need someone
She's a quicksilver girl
A lover of the world
She spreads her wings
And she's free
A lover of the world
She spreads her wings
And she's free
A lover of the world
She's seen every branch
On the tree
Ah, ah, quicksilver girl
Ah, ah, quicksilver girl
Ah, ah, quicksilver girl
If you need a little lovin'
She'll turn on the heat
If you take a fall
She'll put you back on your feet
If you're all alone
She's someone to meet
If you need someone
A lover of the world
She spreads her wings
And she's free

Its weird how there are no comments on Steves early songs. You all dont know what you are missing. This is an excellent song. So mello--you just drift away--a lot like Dear Mary. People only seem to like Steves pop stuff from the mid 70s. Its too bad because he kind of sold out his blues roots to become a star.
I totally agree; Steve's early records are by far his best!!! Less pop, more blues!
Do your friends or family equate a song to you, your personality and life philosophy? Mine equate me with this song and the special period in my life from 1967 to 1970. And yes, I would have done all those comforting things the girl does in the song...and come to think of it I still do.
