"Where The River Flows" as written by and Ed Roland....
Give me a moment
Got to get this weight up off my chest
Don't feed me sorrow
Pain is a poison I digest

Find yourself another soul to hold
You think you thought I know
Off upon my journey I must go
To where the river flows
I'll give you answers

To the questions you have yet to ask
Silence is beauty

Words they only complicate the task
Make no more wishes

All of my patience has been spent
Gods of the season

Lead me to my next incident

General CommentThis song is not about a relationship, at least to me. It's about a personal journey. It's speaking to someone, or more likely to some part of your own self, and saying, "Find yourself another soul to hold -- Off upon my journey I must go -- to where the River Flows." In other words... you don't get to hang onto me any more... I am going and finding out what I am all about.

"The River" is the river of life, of inspiration, of truth. This song is about getting to that pure, simple, just being and living, not getting hung up in sorrow and pain.
