Radiation Vibe

Rumor: These guys wrote this song in their apartment. They were cooking a TV dinner in the microwave and started wrighting a song based on the term "radiation vibe" sparked by a thought about the process of the nuking meal. By the time the microwave chime went off, indicating that the food was as good as cooked the entire lyrical contribution to the song had been written (maybe even the music as well.

Opinion: Of course the song is about more that heating up supper. I think hes touching on the fact that people ride on a wave of their feelings and the impluses that the sensations imspire them to do, and that that is how life goes

I hate to be one of those guys that buys an album for one track, but if I hadn't seen the "Radiation Vibe" video I would've never experienced this phenominal band. These guys are living, breathing proof that talented songwriting is still alive and well.

This band once went by the name, "Three Men Who When Standing Side By Side Have A Wingspan Of Over Twelve Feet." Can you imagine their introduction? "Won't you please welcome, 'Three Men Who When etc etc etc...'". I had heard long ago that they also once went by the name, "The Wallflowers," but sold or gave it to Jacob Dylan for his band. However, I think that might just be an urban legend.

This song makes me happy when I feel like shit. I love to sing along with it, singing in every harmony available. Sometimes when I'm feeling really really bad, I play this song over and over and over, and just sing it and sing it, all over the place, over and over. It's magic for my mood. Not permanently, but when I'm listening to it and singing. Makes me not want to die for a while.
