Honey Power Lyrics

Change my mouth
Here with your tongue
Your body soft
Over there
Where you're laying down

Hold my flower
Here and (you will now)
Fall
Sure you did from appearing smile
Ooh, bloom
I drink to you
Feel you come
High enough
'Till you're sleeping and...

Take my flower
Touch before I die
Over you
Then we'll sleep for another hour

It's a song about gardening, duh!

OK people, I'm going to just end this for all y'all

ALL OF MBV SONGS ARE DIRECTLY/INDIRECTLY ABOUT SEX. PERIOD.

Love how Kevin actually plays the refrain as a guitar driven melody line. He can't sing like Bilinda, but he doesn't have to now does he.

Oh, yeah, just as FaaipDeOaid noted, the Coda is great.

imo, best coda. This or Only Shallow.

I love MBV's lyrics. They almost (or sometimes don't) make no sense whatsoever, but that ties in with how otherworldly and surreal the songs are. And yep, they're pretty much all about sex or love.

It's all about perception
