Macaque Lyrics

There's a philosopher I once met
he showed me many things
he told me things of the world
his face was unusual
but it could tell a story
with rich detail
in rich detail

Sometimes eating
sometimes eyes closed
there was always that face
and its knowledge of things
he never spoke
he needed not to
he needed not to

He sits in a zoo in North America
has no other in his habitat
he's originally from West Africa
West Africa
West Africa

This is about the macaque monkey that ken and greg saw at the orange county zoo one day. You can see it on the failure documentary.

This song is impossibly similar to the novel Ishmael. That's a book, release it would seem in the same year as Comfort, about a gorilla who can communicate through a sort of psychic connection with people in order to tell us how to correct the path of destruction we are on and save the world. He's a philosopher, he has no other in his habitat, his face could tell a story, he never spoke, he needed not to. Maybe Ken had an advanced copy? Doubtful.
