Night Of The Long Knives Lyrics
Who's your leader, who's your man?
Who will help you fill your hand?
Who's your friend and who's your foe?
Who's your Judas, you don't know?
Night of the long knives
Where's that saviour, where's that light
When you're praying for your life?
Who's that fighting back to back?
Who's defending whose attack?
Night of the long knives
(Stick 'em in the back woods)
Night of the long knives
Who will help you fill your hand?
Who's your friend and who's your foe?
Who's your Judas, you don't know?
When you're praying for your life?
Who's that fighting back to back?
Who's defending whose attack?

Night of the Long Knives was when Hitler betrayed the leaders of the SA and killed them
He then used the rest of the SA to create the SS
He did this because the SA had a bad reputation and the Army didnt like them
The Night of the Long Knives was a turning point in the history of Hitler's Germany. Hitler had made it clear that he was the supreme ruler of Germany who had the right to be judge and jury, and had the power to decide whether people lived or died.
For AC/DC that's a pretty wierd thing to reference in a song. Interesting, though. But hey, the album For Those About To Rock was a reference to the salute of the Roman gladiators before going to battle, so... could be.
Short and quick song. simple but it rocks
Muppets the song is about Roman emperor caesar being stabbed in the back by his judas

Its about a night with knives...many knives. ac/dc is a band who like to mess around with many knives and cut up trees and stuff. I don't know why you think Hitler is involved here?
@grind88 while that may be true about the band digging knives, the song is a reference to Hitler betraying his own followers
