Good Girls Go to Heaven (Bad Girls Go Everywhere) Lyrics
Good girls go to heaven
But the bad girls go everywhere
When the wind is howling through your window pane
It's not the only pain of the night
You're burning up in your bed, you got a fever of love
And there's not an anti-body in sight
Hey Jenny, Jenny, why are you crying?
There's a beauty of a moon in the sky
But I guess when you've been leading such a sheltered life
You never lift your head and look so high
You don't have a lot, but it's all that you've got
And you can turn it into more than it seems
Just give it a shot,
Fantasize every movement
And imagine every inch of your dream
No one said it had to be real
But it's gotta be something you can reach out and feel now
It ain't right, it ain't fair
Castles fall in the sand and we fade in the air
And the good girls go to heaven,
But the bad girls go everywhere
Good girls go to heaven,
But the bad girls go everywhere
Somebody told me so,
Somebody told me now I know
Every night in my prayer,
I'll be praying that the
Good girls go to heaven,
But the bad girls go everywhere
When the sweat is sizzling on your skin in the dark
And you're desperate now for somewhere to turn
Every muscle in rebellion, every nerve is on edge
And every limb has been erotically burned
Hey Johnny, Johnny, why are you shaking?
When a boy should do whatever he can
You've been nothing but an angel every day of your life
And now you wonder what it's like to be damned
You don't have a lot, but it's all that you've got
And you can turn it into more than it seems
Just give it a shot,
Fantasize every movement
And imagine every inch of your dream
No one said it had to be real
But it's gotta be something you've been wanting to feel now
It ain't right, it ain't fair
Castles fall in the sand and we fade in the air
And the good boys go to heaven,
But the bad boys go everywhere
Good boys go to heaven,
But the bad boys go everywhere
Somebody told me so,
Somebody told me now I know
Every night in my prayer,
I'll be praying that the
Good boys go to heaven,
But the bad boys go everywhere
Every time I try and dream you,
I can't believe how hard it's been to
Conjure up your face
And trace your body in the air
All the seconds go on forever,
But the thirds and fourth ones are even better
Everytime I do it just a little bit longer
Everytime I dream,
It's just a little bit stronger than real life
Good girls go to heaven,
Bad girls go everywhere
But the bad girls go everywhere
It's not the only pain of the night
You're burning up in your bed, you got a fever of love

My favorite song from BOOH II.
Every time is two words. It's not "everytime." Does anyone proofread these lyrics before submitting them?
@RedEchidna I haven’t; but I should have when I saw my post.

This song is about fantasies about a crush. It's not about sexual fantasies. People tend to go beyond and interpret lyrics to reflect their own styles and thoughts (e.g. thinking nearly every song is about drugs). Good Girls Go to Heaven is simply about dreams and fantasies about the one you desire the most, but the one just might seem out of reach.
Dang! I honestly thought it was about a pimp convincing both a boy and a girl to put out. Seriously. (Man, I am horrible w/ interpretations:)

damn i hope this song is true. cuz im as bad as it gets.
this song is making a blatant reference to the sacred art of masturbating.
Sure she does, she just doesn't talk about it like the guys do.
I thought I was the only one who thought it referenced masturbation! phew lol
masturbating isn't just jerking off though... fingering is masturbation too...
anyway, i used to have a gf named jenny, and as much as i like the image in my head of her masturbating (among other things) i've got to say, that interpretation just doesn't ring out to me.
first, there is mention of two ppl. a jenny and a johnny. it could just as easily be about sex with whoever's available...
but it could also be about fantasies altogether, and their importance, and not just sexual ones either.
but then again, if thats anywhere near the mark, there sure is a hell of a lot of sexual metaphor there...
You're totally right. This song is about fantasies about your crush/love/partner. It's not about sexual fantasies. People tend to go beyond and interpret lyrics to reflect their own styles and thoughts (e.g. thinking nearly every song is about drugs). Good Girls Go to Heaven is simply about fantasies about the one you desire the most, but the one just might seem out of reach.

This song is about... Masturbating?
If you like the Meat Loaf version, dig up Jim Steinman's Pandora's Box, where this song (and a number of others Meat Loaf covered) originally appeared.
The Pandora's Box version kicks the Meat Loaf version to the curb.
(And I agree, it's definitely about making Mr. or Ms. Happy happier. Only Jim Steinman could get away with making a song like that into a smash hit.)
