Long is the night you sleep with dreams of desperation
Poor is the mind you have when used in calculation
And worse the life you'll get when cheated by desires
It's hard to leave your chains of shining gold and artful diamonds
I've seen this child inside you, Hiding and fearing the cold
I feel your pain inside me And bring you cure from the old
No mind no devotion In life no possession
Inside no religion Like a lion in the jungle
Now is the only time, here is the only place
Meant to be flying in esir like an eagle
Strong is the armour that you've built to save you from your past
And cool is the mask you wear that serves you to fulfil your lust
But know the games you play are made of lies and false illusions
You better leave them now 'cause all will turn to dust in your hands
I've seen this child inside you, Hiding and fearing the cold
I feel your pain inside me And bring you cure from the old
No mind no devotion In life no possession
Inside no religion Like a lion in the jungle
Now is the only time, here is the only place
Meant to be flying in esir like an eagle

A lot like a "Find Yourself, Discover God" in a way... "No mind no devotion, in life no possession Inside no religion, like a lion in the jungle" This is about who you are... "Now is the only time, here is the only place Meant to be flying in Esir like an eagle" ...and this is what you should be. At least this is what I gather...I don't know where Mezarkabul stands on this ideological issue.

Btw esir means aether. It sounds like "eagle in nothingness" to me... And, imho, mezarkabul's songs are NOT about religion, but they are always thought as satanist, or none believer etc etc...
