Ok, the fact that there are Dinosaur Jr. songs with out a post, while there are f*@${3 fallout boy lyrics with 50 comments is far more depressing than any emo bullcrap song out there. That is probably the reason emos cut themselves! Cause they're so guilty for robbing the music community of true talent. J Masics is amazing. Check his solo albums.

I love this song hell, I love everything by Dinosaur Jr its sad that they don't get more recognition but I think I like it that they aren't that well known
Its about loosing interest in a relationship and having to move on even if you don't know how
I agree it could be about a relationship, but I am leaning more towards it being about band stuff.
If it was anyone else, I'd think it might be about wanting a job change or a life change, but with J that is all about music.

^^ That part specifically is why I think this. But then he starts talking about a kiss, so who the hell knows. I do know that I can (and have) listen to J non-stop and still pick up new meanings or catch certain phrases. Best artist ever.
Definitely sounds like its about the end of the band. Even though they've been reunited for over half a decade, I can still barely listen to this song without tearing up. It makes me imagine a world without Dinosaur.
