Hell Ain't A Bad Place To Be Lyrics

Hey you -

Sometimes I think this woman is kinda hot
Sometimes I think this woman is sometimes not
Puts me down, fools me around
What's she doing to me?
Out for satisfaction, any piece of action
That ain't the way it should be
She needs love, smells out a man
She's gotta see
Pours my beer, licks my ear
Brings out the devil in me

Hell ain't a bad place to be

Spends my money, drinks my booze, stays out every night
And I got to thinking, "Hey, just a minute, something ain't right"
Disillusions and confusion
Make me want to cry
All the same, you lead your games
Tellin' me your lies
Don't mind her playing a demon
As long as it's with me
If this is hell then you could say
It's heavenly

Hell ain't a bad place to be

Late at night turns down the lights
Closes up on me
Opens my heart, tears it apart
Brings out the devil in me

Hell ain't no bad place to be

all of you dont understand what ac/dc is all about. over half the song talk about getting laid, the rest talk about rock and roll and have a good time free of all the bullshit that exists today. this song is just another one talking about sex, similar to "touch too much" or "whole lotta rosie" where the sex is lead by the girl (who by the way seems always to be pretty good at what she does in bed)

i thought this was a black label society song?

no, unless they have a song with a similar name. anyway, Bon is singing about a wild woman who is corrupting him, and he is realizing that it isn't so bad.

This song has the G-D chord progression as it's riff. t;s like the most common progression in AC/DC songs. Just thought you'd wanna know.

Since when has AC/DC been worried about hell being bad or not? About half their songs are about hell...well, not really, but whatever. I like this song a lot, though. It's really catchy. I agree it's about a woman who's bringing him down, but he doesn't care because he likes it.

It's not about hell, other than perhaps he might go there for doing what he is doing. It's just about that even the relationship seems like hell, he still enjoys it. There is a country song by Barbara Mandrell with a similar concept. The "If Loving You Is Wrong I Don't Want To Be Right", is about being in love with a married man. Both of these relationships may not be the right thing to do, but they don't seem to care.

its about a girl tyin to bring him down to a point where hes furious but he likes it

It's about a girl and how she controls his life. She's hot but when she's pissed, well, she's not. It drives him crazy and connects his life with hell because the girl symbolizes the devil. But when she gets dirty, yeah, it's worth being in "hell" (;
