well, it seems to me to strongly resemble a girl i have just finished with. Basically, its much like the song (except shes not from marin). Everyone was telling me that she wasnt good for me, but i was still drawn to her for a long time. Finally when i exposed her for everything she was - her over confidence, her increasing coldness, her #@%$ stained smile, and her empty words
I think the song is just about realising that all your friends were right when they said she was a bitch.
